Back to School Night – Thursday, September 17

We look forward to Thursday night! Back to School Night will begin with our first PTA meeting in Dining Commons at 5:30PM. Rebecca Duff, PTA President, and PTA board members will welcome families and provide an overview of the exciting PTA events for this school year. Then, Melissa Hyatt, Discovery’s Technology Coach, will share information about educational technology use in K-5 classrooms. After the PTA meeting, parents will transition to classrooms for two sessions:

• Session 1- 6:20-6:40 PM
• Session 2: 6:45-7:05 PM

Grades 3-5 will meet as a team in the studio classrooms. We will have guides to assist families find their way to the correct locations, including the studio classrooms. While Back To School Night is just a quick Year-at-a-Glace, please know that conferences are right around the corner. October 8th and 9th are dedicated days for Parent Teacher Conferences. Please review the BTSN slides from APS in advance of the sessions.
