I am from Alexandria, VA.

A fun or interesting fact about me is that I am the only left-handed person in my family.

My favorite children’s book is The Day You Begin by Jacqueline Woodson.

My favorite place to visit is new art exhibitions and the beach.

I feel included when my ideas and unique perspectives are encouraged.

I enjoy teaching students the C.A.R.E.S. trait of Empathy.

My hope for this school year is to create an inclusive, safe space for all of my students to express themselves, share ideas and create amazing artwork.

My dream for this school year is for my students to feel comfortable trying new things and gain more confidence in their creative abilities.
